We first started with a vertical POS for Video Rental Stores. A few years later we introduced Best Seller, a general purpose point of sale system. Written in DOS during the late 80's Best Seller was installed in several types of retail environments.
Over the last 20 plus years VMT Software has sold 1000's of point of sale programs.

Best Seller was completely re-written in our Windows based programming language in early 2001. When Windows 7 was introduced Best Seller was ported to our newer Windows based language and optimized to work with Windows 7.
VMT has been using X-Charge credit card processing in house for several years, we switched from another processor to X-Charge because they had good rates and service. We have upgraded our Best Seller program to use the latest PCI compliant version of X-Charge.
